My name is Simone, and I live in Silkeborg with my chubby cat, Manse. I am the face behind Lino.Memories.

I am studying Commerce Economics at Erhvervsakademi Dania, and as part of my education, I started an eight-month entrepreneurship internship in my business, Lino.Memories, in January 2025.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends or immersing myself in a whirlwind of creativity in my small one-room apartment.

I founded Lino.Memories during a sick leave in 2023, when I was diagnosed with depression—later revealed to be caused by untreated ADD.

I have always loved traveling, so when I created my very first linocut print in 2022, I chose to depict mountains and the northern lights, reminding me of the year I lived in Sisimiut, Greenland.

During my sick leave, I spent countless hours carving travel memories into linoleum, allowing myself to dream away. I discovered that linocut printing provided a much-needed break from my constantly overactive mind.

Linocut printing helped me through a difficult time, and I now make it a priority to dedicate at least one "creative day" each week to recharge mentally. I am passionate about creative projects, and through my small creative universe, I hope to inspire others to find joy in exploring their own creativity.
